Authorsrough Plumbing is a referral service for homeowners dealing with a plumbing problem. Many of them are dealing with one for the first time. We do not send out vehicles and we do not do repairs. We connect you with independent local providers in our network.

Why This Service Exists

A burst pipe or a backed-up drain is stressful. Searching for help while water is spreading makes it harder. This site gives you a calm place to start. It explains the problem in plain words and points you toward a local provider who can take a look.

The Seasons Shape Everything

Pipes and drains do not fail at random. Deep frost can split pipes. Spring thaw and heavy rain can overload sump pumps and storm drains. Humid summer storms can back up a sewer line. Know your season, and you can often catch trouble early. We write our guides with that in mind.

How Providers Are Matched

When you reach out, we look at the kind of problem you have and where you live. Then we point you to a provider in our network who handles that work in your area. Availability varies, so Request a callback to check provider availability. Many providers can respond quickly, but we cannot promise a time.

What We Expect From Providers

Providers in our network are independent businesses. We ask them to be clear about what they find, to explain options in plain language, and to give a written quote before larger work begins. They are responsible for the work they do, and for holding any licenses or permits your area requires. You should always ask to confirm this.

What We Do Not Do

• We do not perform plumbing, drain or sewer work.
• We do not set the provider's price or schedule.
• We do not promise results, timing or insurance coverage.
• We do not replace your own judgment. Shut off the water first, then call.

Some policies may cover sudden damage, so check your own policy. Providers can often help document damage for a claim.

How We Are Paid

You pay the provider for the work, as agreed in your quote. Providers in our network may pay Authorsrough Plumbing a fee for connecting them with homeowners. That fee does not change your right to compare options and ask questions. Asking for an estimate carries no obligation.
